Three words...chicken and dumplings. OMG, the best!! Their fried chicken is always perfect. There are many veggie selections and always a cake or cobbler to choose from. The ambience is pretty pedestrian, but they do have one room dedicated to their local military men and women, going back to World War I. There are 5x7 pics with names and where they served--and sometimes, where they died. I'm not military, but I always like to eat in this room, surrounded by heroes.

Classic southern buffet - shoot for Sunday

Great country breakfast and lunch.

Keep in mind that this is a very local and simple, set back in the past feel to this restaurant. The staff are nice, the food tastes delicious no matter how it looks if you aren't familiar with some southern cooking items. We were very pleased with our lunch at this establishment.

Great country cooking

very load food all over the floor filthy bathroom with urine all over the floor and the workers were very immature and just didn't want to be there. highly recommend not going to this restaurant if you have any class at all

Very local and it is dated. But it is some of the best breakfast my husband and I have had. We come here every time we are in Blairsville.

Good was food and waitresses were very pleasant and efficient. Only bad thing was some heavy guy in a dirty t-shirt ( friend/spouse went behind food bar and was hanging over it with both arms talking. 😲

DELICIOUS!! HOME STYLE COOKED MEALS!!$17.00 is all it cost for my Husband & I to have a wonderful lunch. Which includes a salad, ice tea, your meal with sides, and banana pudding!! The Staff are Always wearing a smile. CLEAN dinning area. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very friendly but can get very packed on Sundays but I completly understand.

We ate the bar it was terrible the food has really gone downhill lately for some reason I don't plan on going back there. We could hardly get anything to drink we have to go up front and get the lady that takes the money at the register to take her order because the waitress was too busy for us.

My son and I loved the veterans room! We are both veterans of the Marine Corps and enjoyed the visual journey back in time. The good was good and simple portions. The only negative thing was we waited over an hour before we got out food.

A must if in Blairsville. An awesome cafeteria style place to eat. A wonderful atmosphere.

The restaurant was in so so condition and the vegetables were straight out of a can. Fried chicken was ok but everything else was bland.

When traveling to Blairsville on business I always schedule time to eat at the Blairsville Restaurant. The staff is so friendly, the food is always good beyond measure, and the price makes dining there a pleasure.

Decent buffet. The fried chicken a cake were good. Canned vegetables mostly and some items needed refreshed.

We we're out looking for some place different to eat Thanksgiving. We saw Blairsville restaurant and decided to give it a try. The food, and staff are awesome. we will definitely be coming back here next time we decide to head to Blairsville.

I saw a potato on the floor that was next to the buffet table. It looked like it had been there a white. And had ceiling tiles falling apart in the restroom.

Cooks is one of our favorite places in Blairsville to eat! Good homemade taste and the staff are always friendly. All the food is hot and tasty. Try their Hamburgers they are the best around, hot bar is always good. Great place to take or meet friends.

Great lunch buffet! 6 kids and 4 adults all with drinks for $63....WOW!! The best fried chicken and spaghetti, loved the side items, salad, and homemade cake.....all you can eat. Best homecooked food we have had at a restaurant. The staff is more than accommodating for our large group, we had only been for breakfast before, but lunch was even better. Will definitely be coming back (often!).
